Despite a huge city deficit, the budget for the Chicago Public Library (CPL) was increased for FY11! Few libraries in other U.S. cities have been so fortunate.
Great news for the 41st Ward ...our libraries underwent service hours reductions this past year. Let's see if those hours can be restored? Maybe our next Alderman will see this as a priority?
