EDISON PARK FEST 2011

Edison Park Fest will be held August 19th, 20th, and 21st.

Main Stage Band Information:

Parade Information: 

The Edison Park Fest Parade will take off from Ebinger School (on W. Pratt Ave.) at 11am on Saturday, August 20th.  The parade will start at the corner of Pratt Ave. and Oketo Ave, head south on Oketo Ave. to Northwest Hwy.  Continue northwest on Northwest Hwy. to Overvill and south on Overhill.

AT & T Family Stage Schedule:

Saturday, August 20th:
12:00pm:  Chung's Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do Academy, 1:00pm:  Jason Kollum's Rock and Roll Variety Juggling Show, 2:00pm:  Brian Wismer's Simon Says Challenge, 3:00pm:  Bob James' Comedy and Magic Show
Sunday, August 21st:
12:00pm:  Jim Nesci's Cold Blooded Creatures, 1:00pm:  Professor Marvel's Amazing Flea Circus and Magic Show, 2:00pm:  Brent Allen - Modern Day Daredevil, 3:00pm:  Jeanie B.'s Award-winning kid's rock for all ages

Amusements:

Amusements will once again be provided by Oak Ridge Ranch Amusements.  Wristbands cost $15 and can be used on Saturday, August 20th from 12pm-2pm and Sunday, August 21st from 12-3pm.  Amusements will include games, inflatables, an obstacle course, a rock climbing wall and more!

Bingo:

Bingo will be held from 12-5pm on both Saturday and Sunday at the AT&T Bingo Tent on Oliphant Ave.

Business Expo:

The Business Expo will run from 9am - 5pm on Saturday, August 20th and Sunday, August 21st.  Vendors will primarily be location on N. Olmsted, just north of the METRA station, while some booths will be located adjacent to the Food Vendors.  Both product and and service vendors will be showcasing their offerings for Edison Park Fest attendees.

Craft Fair:

The Craft Fair will run from 10am - 5pm on Saturday, August 20th and Sunday, August 21st.  Vendors will be located at Monument Park and will be selling only original, hand-crafted items.

Bags Tournament:

The Bags Tournament will be held on Sunday, August 21st and check-in is from 11:30 - 12:30pm.  Bags will fly at 1pm.  This is a doubles recreational tournament for players 21 and older.  Please, no professional players.  Double-elimination format, guaranteed at least 3 games.

Dog Show:

The Dog Show will be held on Sunday,  August 21st at Olympia Park (6566 Avondale Ave.) from 2pm - 3pm.  Check in begins at 1:30pm.  Categories include: Largest Dog, Smallest Dog, Best Vocal Performance, Most Original Costume, Most Glamorous, Terrific Pet Tricks, Most/Least Obedient, Best in Show/People's Choice.

Food Vendors:

Edison Park Fest features a wide array of food offerings.  Food vendors who will be showcasing their fabulous cuisine include:  Kettle Kabin, Armand's, Emerald Isle, Le Flour Bakery, Dino's Pizza, Taco Burrito King, Cafe Zalute, Park Ridge Dairy Queen, Chicago Prime, Rex Italian Foods, Lee's Concessions, Suzie's Fun Foods, Grecian Kitchen, Lisa's Homemade Italian Ice, Genoa Concessions, and Strawberry Patch.
