  1. you deserve to win. Your blog filled a gap when the Pioneer Press folded, especially during the aldermanic election.

  2. Congratulations! How does a resident post something to the blog? Not a comment, and actual item of interest in the 41st ward to blog about?

  4. Congratulations. What I like about the blog is that there seems to be little fear of allowing blogger/citizens to question Rahms'dictates. Example; the Sun-Times editorial a couple days ago agreed with Rahms' desire to settle the Burge torture cases. The Sun-Times meekly applauded a settlement, while completly ignoring the obvious; settling the lawsuits prevents Daley from being forced to testify under oath. Settling these lawsuits will cost taxpayers tens of millions of dollars.

We blogger/citizens can state the obvious-that Daley was the worst States Attorney & Mayor in Chicagos' long history. And Rahm will do anything in his power to protect his pal. Thank you, 41st Ward Citizen, for allowing citizens to point out what the corporate media wants silenced.

  5. Driving Norhtwest bound on NWHGY.at Harlem there is a right turn lane and a bike lane, so if you want to make a left (southbound on Harlem), You will tie up traffic down past the Aldermans Office.

  12. I agree, it is refreshing to see a local blogger receive a nomination, but the big boy blogs will win.
