Much better!
ReplyDeletemy local park still looks like junk compared to ones in da'hood. I doubt this website will help that, remember folks it cost us tax money to get it. We really don't need it.
ReplyDeleteHow did I ever go through life without it?
ReplyDeleteI like the new website and put it in my favorites. Will look at it and keep myself informed. As for the cost, 12:58pm, it says the website is paid for by "Friends of Mary O'Connor", so the cost isn't paid for from tax money.
ReplyDeleteI like being able to request city services on line. I don't have time to sit on the phone for 15 minutes waiting for the 311 operator and I know what I'm saying will be communicated and not interpreted by the operator
ReplyDeleteI think Alderman O'Connor is trying to communicate with the ward, unlike the previous alderman. The website looks good and sponsoring the storm forums was a move in the right direction. Am waiting to see how she votes on key city ordinances. Will she vote with us or with Rahm?
ReplyDeleteI think this website is a move in the right direction- COMMUNICATION. Alderman O'Connor is doing a good job but she has her work cut out for her trying to clean up after Alderman-what was his name?
