Finally something about biking! Check out the Chicago Cycling Club. A free, voluntary, no-membership-needed club that explores the chicagoland area by bike. Some bike trips are short, some long, different paces too (slow, medium, fast). Lots of fun and advantages with biking to places around the city in groups.

not many existing bike lanes, mostly proposed. When will that be happening?
ReplyDeleteSo glad people on bikes will be fined for cell phone use and texting. I can't believe the number of kids I see texting and riding!
ReplyDeleteThe intersection of West/East Circle & Nottingham/Nicolet - It appears to be an all-stop intersection, but I've noticed those driving eastbound on West Circle think they have the right of way, and speed right through. Maybe they do. It would help if the street were clearly marked.
ReplyDeleteAny white paint left in the 41st Ward yard?
