  1. 128 power outages in one year - more than any other ward in the city. I beleive this merits a community meeting with Com Ed for them to explain why this happens in the 41st Ward. In the last month, my power has been off on five different occassions. I think we deserve an asnswer from COM ED.

As I recall, Alderman O'Connor sits on the City Council's Energy Committee. Perhaps she can be of some assistance with setting up a meeting.

  2. I've been thinking about buying a generator. Everytime the power goes off, my sump pump goes off and I'm a nervous wreck.

Has anyone else bought a generator and any advice?

  3. The plan is working, the reason you don't have power so often is to advance the "smart grid" plan. We are all peons. The machine and ComEd and joined at the hip.
