Chicago Sun-Times story " Commuter lot previously filled when it was an unimproved lot with no charge, is now improved with gravel, lights and a 25cent charge, and hasn't had a customer all week that it has been open for business. Cars are jammed around the curbs and in the lot the station house occupies. Others walk. The lot is across the street from C & NW Edison Park Suburban Station".
